Are you passionate about music? Think you could organise a live music event? The Bandstand Marathon is seeking people, bands and organisations to host live music as part of the closing event of the London 2012 Festival.

We’re seeking bands, groups, choirs and individual musicians to take this opportunity to create their own live community event and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. 3 such events have been registered in High Wycombe.

Event Programmers will lead on the programming of bands and performers whilst also helping with on the ground logistics such as arranging chairs.

Event programmers will receive project expenses of up to£350 to programme 4 hours of community music at their local venue.

Bands can apply for role of Event Programmers as can community groups such as Friends of the Park, not for profit organisations, charities etc.

If you would like to become an Event Programmer, please read more and fill in a registration form at http://bandstandmarathon.org.uk or contact angie@superact.org.uk
