YOUR DISTRICT NEEDS YOU!
Made in Wycombe: Past, Present and Future at The Arts4every1 Theatre on the 4th and 5th May between 11am and 4.30pm
Calling all Wycombe District residents, community groups, organisations and companies in Wycombe District... it's time to tell your story... Past, Present and Future!
Imagine an event where you can bring along some old photos or film of your family or special events about Wycombe in the past. Where you can talk to others over nice cup of tea and a slice of cake. Imagine being able to sit down and see a film and photos of local days gone by. Imagine being able to see art and craft from local talented people and hear about new ideas, innovations and ventures and taste the delights of food and drink from local producers.
Imagine no longer: This event is happening at the Arts4every1 Centre (former St John's Church) in Desborough Road on the 4th and 5th May between 11am and 4.40pm both days.
Why not get involved? We are looking for volunteers to help us on each day. Better still help us put on the show by bringing along your items and artifacts at one of our preliminary OPEN DAYS. If you feel up to it we would be happy to interview you on film or audio and include you in a presentation or film on the day.
As part of Wycombe Arts Festival for 2013, The Made in Wycombe team is looking forward to another exciting project. Following on from last years excellent exhibition and fun day, this year we are turning the theatre space at Arts4every1 into a vintage cinema experience showing film and photos of Wycombe: Past, Present and Future.
